A1 American Plumbing: REPAIRS FOR FAUCETS & SINKS

A1 American Plumbing, INC

What to Do When Your Faucet or Sink is Broken

Faucets break. Water can suddenly start spewing forcefully over the room. You should try to shut it off as soon as possible.

  1. Two shut-off valves are located under the sink, one for hot & one for cold.
  2. Turn valve handles until the water stops.
  3. If stuck, use pliers to loosen them slowly.
  4. If handles spin freely with no traction, tighten the screw on the front of the handle, then try turning again.
  5. Once the water is stopped, contact Norm, the Plumber & his team of experienced plumbers.
  6. If you have tried all the steps above and still cannot turn of the water please consider calling the Fire Department to prevent further water damage to your property.

If you have a clogged sink, we’ll investigate the source, unclog, and inspect lines for other problems or damage.
